TAKE CARE CREATIVE LIMITED, trading as Take Care, is responsible for the personal information described in this notice. Registered in England and Wales, company number 17247304. Registered office: 12 Hatherly Road, Sidcup, Kent, DA14 4DT.

This notice covers website visits and enquiries about our services. We will provide additional information where a project involves other uses of personal information.

What we collect and why

We receive the names, email addresses, optional phone numbers and messages you provide when contacting us. Both enquiry forms require your name and email; our Contact page also requires a message. This information lets us respond and discuss potential work. Your phone number is optional.

We rely on our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries and managing business correspondence. Where you are personally entering a contract with us, we may also process information to take steps you request before that contract and to perform it.

We do not currently add website enquirers to a marketing mailing list or send follow-up marketing campaigns. Sending an enquiry is not an agreement to receive marketing.

Website services

Squarespace hosts our website and stores form submissions. Google provides our email through Google Workspace. Form notifications are sent to contact@take-care-creative.com.

Squarespace processes technical information to operate and protect the website, including IP addresses and browser, device and page-visit information. Our forms use Google reCAPTCHA to detect spam and automated abuse; Google processes technical and interaction information for that purpose. We rely on our legitimate interests in operating a reliable, secure website, and request consent for optional cookies where required.

We may share relevant information with professional advisers when needed for advice, or authorities where legally required.

International processing

Our service providers may process information outside the UK, including in the United States. Their applicable data-protection terms set out international-transfer arrangements, including adequacy arrangements or approved contractual safeguards where applicable. Contact us for information about safeguards relevant to your data.

How long we keep information

We review enquiry records annually. At each review, we delete enquiries where there has been no contact for at least 12 months, unless ongoing work or a legal, accounting or dispute-related reason requires retention. This is a manual review, so information may remain until the next annual review. Records needed for an active client relationship are retained for that relationship and applicable legal or accounting needs.

Cookies and your choices

We use necessary cookies and similar technologies to provide and protect this website and remember privacy choices. With your permission, we also allow optional Squarespace analytics cookies to understand website usage.

You can accept or decline optional cookies in the banner and change your choices using Cookie Preferences. Declining optional cookies does not prevent you from contacting us. Your browser also lets you manage stored cookies, although blocking necessary cookies may affect features.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to access, correct or delete information, restrict its use, or receive a portable copy. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing.

Email contact@take-care-creative.com to exercise your rights. We may need to verify your identity. We normally respond to rights requests within one month, subject to applicable legal exceptions and extensions.

Complaints

Email contact@take-care-creative.com if you are concerned about our use of personal information. We will acknowledge a data-protection complaint within 30 days, investigate it, keep you informed and communicate the outcome without undue delay.
